Join a choir

Would you like to join a choir? Hannah Brine Choirs are based in London, the Peak District, Manchester, and Cheshire. There are no auditions (apart from for new members of Finsbury A Cappella) and everyone is welcome. If you’re new, you can book a taster session to try your choir out before committing for the term.

Didsbury Singers and Finsbury A Cappella are for upper voices (sopranos and altos); all the other choirs are mixed voices (soprano, alto, tenor and bass). If you’re not sure of your voice part then your choir’s conductor will help you find your range and give you guidance on which part to sing with.

• Finsbury Park Singers* and Finsbury A Cappella (upper voices) Tuesdays in London, led by Charles Béquignon-MacDougall
• Walthamstow Singers Tuesdays in London, conducted by Tristan Weymes
• Victoria Park Singers Wednesdays in East London, led by Charles Béquignon-MacDougall
• Bollington Singers Wednesdays in Bollington in Cheshire, led by Kathryn Bradley
• Forest Gate Singers Wednesdays in East London, led by Seb Marshall. This new community choir launches on 1st October 2025

* We currently have a cap on upper voices at Finsbury Park Singers, numbers, to keep a balance of voice parts. If Finsbury Park Singers is full, please email assistant@hannahbrine.co.uk to join the waiting list and find out more. If you are an experienced soprano or alto, you may like to consider joining our a cappella choir for upper voices which rehearses from 6.15pm to 7.15pm on Tuesdays.
